[caution]Before you begin, you need to make sure you have installed the Product Attributes feature and enabled Product Weight - you'll need to do this as it makes it easier to configure your Delivery Methods later on. [/caution]

Connecting your EKM online shop to Syncee

1. From the Dashboard, click Features on the left-hand menu:

2. Click the Features Library tab:

3. Scroll down to the Product Management features and click the View More button on the far right-hand side:

4. Click the Syncee logo:

5. On the next page, you need to click the Connect button:

6. Now you need to add a username, your email address and your chosen password into the fields provided before clicking the blue Register button:

7. Now you need to click the green Allow button:

9. Click the blue Login button:

10. Scroll down and click the blue Next button:

11. Select from the drop-down menu, and click the blue Next button:

12. Select Marketplace and then click the blue Next button:

[tips]Whilst it is possible to use products sourced from Alibaba, the suppliers of these products are not UK-based, so any orders that your customers make may take a long time to arrive with them. With that in mind, Marketplace is the recommended option so that you can source products from UK-based suppliers for a better level of customer service and satisfaction. [/tips]

Finding a Supplier

13. On the next page, you can choose between selecting individual products or selecting individual suppliers. It’s a good idea to begin by searching for suppliers, so you can quickly source product ranges that are based in the UK. Click the relevant option and then click the blue Finish button:

14. Now you need to click the burger menu in the top left-hand corner:

15. Click Marketplace from the left-hand side menu, and then click Find Suppliers:

16. On this page, you can use the various different filters to find a supplier for the kind of products you would like to stock on your EKM online shop. It’s a good idea to begin by clicking the Supplier drop-down menu, selecting a UK-based company and then selecting Dropshipping from the Shipping Types menu:

[tips]If you select ‘Any’ or ‘Approval Needed’ from the Approve drop-down menu, this means that the supplier will want to check over your EKM online shop and possibly contact you before allowing you to resell their products. You can read more about Approval here.[/tips]

17. When you have selected a supplier, on the suppliers’ page, you need to click the blue button on the far right-hand side:

18. In the window that appears, click Got It:

[tips]Ideally, you should only use one or two suppliers on your EKM online shop. This ensures that you can correctly configure your Delivery Methods accordingly. [/tips]

19. In the next window, give the catalog a name in the field provided, and adjust the margin figure. The margin is a percentage of the price added to each product which will be your profit. When you have completed these fields, click the blue button to add your catalog:

20. On the next page, you’ll see a list of all of the products from the supplier, ready to be added to your EKM online shop. Click the blue Sync button on the right-hand side:

21. Don’t move or click elsewhere on this page until the import has been completed:

22. When it has, return to the browser tab displaying your EKM online shop and look in the Inventory Manager, where you’ll find all of the products that have been imported:

23. From here, you can manage your products into different Categories and Subcategories, edit your Product Descriptions and add any Product Attributes required for Google Shopping. However, before you begin that step, it’s a good idea to set up the Delivery Methods for your Products.

Setting up your Delivery Methods

As you have already installed the Product Attributes feature and Enabled Product Weight, this coordinates with the weight values already applied to the Syncee Products on your EKM online shop. During the process of setting up Syncee on your EKM online shop, you will have chosen a supplier.

There are hundreds of suppliers available to choose from on the Syncee platform, and it’s the supplier who will be able to provide you with accurate information for setting up your Delivery Methods. Many suppliers will advise a weight-based delivery method and will be able to give you a list of weights and prices for those items to be shipped. This list then needs to be made into a Delivery Method on your EKM online shop.

[remember]If you have any non-Syncee Products on your EKM online shop, you will need to configure your Syncee Products to work alongside your existing Delivery Methods. [/remember]

[tips]Syncee’s support centre can be found here and their YouTube channel is here. [/tips]
