[intro]When you have completed this Guide, you will have created and configured Google Tags to feed data to your G4A account. [/intro]

1. Now you have installed the code on your EKM online shop, your next step is to configure your Google Tags to pass data to GA4. Return to the browser tab displaying Google Tag Manager, and click Add New Tag:

2. Give this new Tag a name by clicking in the top left-hand corner and replacing the text, and then click the Edit symbol in the top right-hand corner of the Tag Configuration element:

3. In the menu that appears on the right-hand side, click Google Analytics: GA4 Configuration:

[tips]If you can't the same options in the image above, click Google Analytics: GA4 Event. [/tips]

4. You’ll then see this menu:

5. Return to the browser tab displaying your Google Analytics account, click Data Streams in the left-hand side menu, and then click the name of your EKM online shop:

6. This will reveal your Measurement ID. Click the symbol to copy this, and then return to the browser tab displaying Google Tag Manager:

7. Paste the Measurement ID into the field provided, and then click the Save button in the top right-hand corner:

8. In the window that appears, click Add Trigger:

9. Now you need to click All Pages:

10. Finally, click the blue Save button in the top right-hand corner:

11. You will then be redirected back to the Google Tag Manager Dashboard. Again, you need to click Add A New Tag:

12. Again, you need to give this Tag a name by amending the text in the top left-hand corner and then clicking the Edit symbol:

13. From the menu on the right-hand side, click Google Analytics: GA4 Event:

14. Now you need to select your Google Tag from the drop-down menu, and complete the following fields as shown in the image, before clicking the blue Save button in the top right-hand corner:

15. In the window that appears, click Add Trigger:

16. In the menu that appears, click the blue cross in the top right-hand corner:

17. Give this Trigger a name by amending the text in the top left-hand corner and then click the Edit symbol on the top right-hand side:

18. Scroll down the menu on the right-hand side and click Custom Event:

19. Complete the fields as shown in the image below, before clicking the blue Save button in the top right-hand corner:

20. Your finished event should look like this:

21. Returning to your Tag Manager dashboard, you now need to click Submit in the top right-hand corner:

22. Add a name and a description to the fields provided click Publish in the top right-hand corner:
