The Product Urgency feature allows you to add visual calls to action on selected Product Pages that encourage your customers to complete their purchases. This works well alongside the Discount Management feature, where you can set up offers and discounts for your customers, as between the two features, you can quickly set up flash sales on specific Products and Categories. 

[remember] Product Urgency is only available to shops on the Standard, Advanced and Pro tiers of service. If you wish to upgrade your account, you can do so by following the steps within this Guide. [/remember]

Installing the Feature

1. From the Dashboard, click Features:

2. Click the Feature Library tab:

3. Scroll down to the Conversions features and click the View More button on the right-hand side:

4. Click the Product Urgency icon:

5. Click the green Install Feature button:

6. You'll then be redirected to your Installed Features page. Click the Product Urgency icon to open the feature:

7. Click the green Add Campaign button on the far right-hand side:

8. This will redirect you to the Create Campaign page. You need to begin by giving the Campaign a Name and Description, before setting the Start and End Dates for your Campaign:

9. Now you need to click the green Add Tactic button:

In this window, you can choose which Tactic you would like to use with your Campaign:

Countdown Timer


Let customers know how much time they have left before an event or promotion ends.

Get It By Timer


Let customers know how much time they have left to get a delivery by a specific day.

Cart Reservation Timer


Create urgency by telling customers their cart is reserved for a period of time.

Free Delivery Message


Let customers know how much they need to spend to qualify for free delivery.

Low Stock Warning

Create urgency by letting customers know that stock levels are low.

[caution]If you have activated the Product Urgency feature and it is not visible on the front end of your EKM online shop, your account may be in Custom Mode. You can read more about Custom Mode in this Guide, and the Customer Support Team or your Account Manager will be able to advise what to do to make Product Urgency visible on your EKM online shop.
