[intro]When you have completed this Guide, you will have customised the Image Banner section on the Aerial Theme of your EKM online shop.[/intro]

Before you begin this Guide, it’s a good idea to create the image you would like to use in this section. Your image will need to 1920 pixels wide x 600 pixels high, and either .jpeg/.png. This image should be uploaded to Tiny Png or Tiny Jpeg (according to which file type you’ve chosen) to ensure that it has been optimised and will load quickly for visitors to your EKM online shop. 

1. Click the Edit symbol to open the Image Banner section:

2. Now you need to upload your image. Click the Select Image button:

3. In the window that appears, click the Upload Image button in the top right-hand corner:

4. In the second window, click the Select File button:

5. Locate the image on your computer and then click Open in the File Explorer window:

6. When you have located the image on your computer, you’ll see a preview of it in the window. Click the green Upload File button:

7. In the remaining window, click the file name and the image will be applied:

8. Below the Image button, there are two switches. The first is to Enable Fullwidth. If you have this turned on, there will be no border around your image:

9. The next switch allows you to Enable URL, so that your image can be hyperlinked to take the visitor somewhere else. If you turn this switch on, you’ll see an Edit symbol appear. Click this:

10. In the menu that appears, each folder symbol represents a different area of your EKM online shop. Click the green cross symbol to expand the Categories folder and select the Category you want to link to the Button:

[remember]The Category, Product or Webpage that you want to link to the Button must not be hidden on your EKM online shop, otherwise, it won’t be visible in the link menu when you are creating the link.[/remember]

11. Finally, you need to scroll down and click the green Save button:
