Installing the feature

1. From the Dashboard, click the Features tab:

2. On the Features page, scroll down to the More Features box and click on the Age Verification icon:

3. You then need to click the green Install Feature button on the bottom right-hand side of the page:

4. You’ll then be presented with the settings for Age Verification:

Configuring your Settings

Show on Website

Click the toggle button here to turn on the Age Verification button on your EKM online shop.

Title

This is the large headline your customers will see above the Age Verification fields. 

Description

This is the smaller text customers will see below the headline.

Minimum Age

This is where you set the minimum age that your customers have to be to purchase your Products. The minimum age, of course, depends on what it is that you sell.

[remember]You will need to check with your local Trading Standards website to ensure that the age of your customers corresponds with the legal age restrictions of your products.[/remember]

Background Image

Here you can upload an image that will act as a background to the Age Verification window, preventing customers from viewing your EKM online shop. The image must be 1920 pixels wide by 1080 pixels high.

Background Colour

If you don’t wish to use a Background Image, you can use a Background Colour instead, to give a coloured frame around the Age Verification fields. Simply tick the box provided to bring up a Colour picker window. You can select a colour by dragging the slider and moving your cursor in the colour window, or alternatively, paste the hex code into the field provided:

When you have finished configuring your Age Verification, you simply need to click the green Save button in the bottom right-hand corner:
