[intro]Before you begin this Guide, you need to have created an email address on your domain name and set up an account with the Reviews.io platform. You can do this by clicking the Reviews.io icon at the bottom of the Features page in your EKM online shop, which will trigger their Support Team to contact you and help you set up an account, or alternatively, you can visit their website and make an account by clicking here. 1. When you have set up your Reviews.io account, your next step is to link this to your EKM online shop to encourage customers to leave you a review. To do this, from your Reviews.io Dashboard, you need to click the Settings tab in the top right-hand corner:
2. In the drop-down menu, click Widgets beneath Publishing settings:
3. You then need to select your Widget Settings. It’s optional as to whether you would like to include negative reviews on your widget, but it is recommended that you tick the lower box to include review titles, so customers can quickly summarise a review without having to read all of it. You then need to click the blue Save button on the bottom right-hand side:
4. Your next step is to click the Company Setup tab in the top middle of the page:
5. Now you need to click Publishing Reviews beneath Company Review Publishing on the drop-down menu:
6. This will redirect you to the Widget library. On the bottom left-hand side of the page, you can click to select which widget type you would like to use, and the widget features you would like to include:
7. Ensure that you have ticked the box on the left-hand side of the page for Company reviews, and select one of the highlighted widgets within the results. For this guide, I’m going to use the Ribbon Badget Widget:
8. On the widget page, you’ll be able to select the size you would like the widget to be on the bottom left-hand side. To the right of this, you’ll see some HTML code. When you have selected what size you would like the widget to be, copy all of the HTML code:
9. In a separate browser tab, log into your EKM online shop. From the Dashboard, click the Shop tab:
10. Ensure that your Edit Design button is turned on:
11. Scroll to the bottom of your Homepage, and click the Edit Element button for the area where you would like to add your widget:
12. Within the Edit Element window, you need to ensure that Content Type is set as HTML before you click the Content tab:
13. You then need to click the Source button to reveal the code for that element:
14. Paste the code for your widget beneath any existing code, before clicking the Source button again:
15. Don’t worry if you can’t see the widget in the Edit Element window. You then need to click the Save & Close button on the bottom right-hand side of the window:
16. You’ll then see your widget in the footer of your EKM online shop:
When customers click this widget on the front end of your shop, they will be redirected to your company profile on Reviews.io and be able to leave their reviews there.
