[intro]When you have completed this Guide, you will have located the Order Restrictions page and configured the settings within it to suit the purpose of your EKM online shop. [/intro]



Although not essential for every shop owner, some Order Restrictions are essential for some kinds of EKM online shops. On the Order Restrictions page, you can decide if you want to apply a minimum or maximum order volume your customers must adhere to before they can check out, order totals and what countries can use your EKM online shop.

1. From the Dashboard, click Settings at the bottom of the left-hand menu:

2. On the Settings page, click Order Restrictions on the far left-hand side:

3. This will then display the Order Restrictions page:

4. In this element, you can select whether to impose a minimum or maximum order amount on customers, which will limit how much or how little they purchase from your EKM online shop. If you want to exclude Tax from either amount if you decide to add them, simply tick the box provided:

5. If you wish to set limits on how many Products customers buy from your EKM online shop, tick the box: 

6. Below this, you can also add a value to 'Minimum number of products allowed in cart' and 'Maximum number of products allowed in cart' if you wish:

7. If you have any Text Area Product Options added to any of your Products, you can increase or decrease the number of characters which can be entered into this field on the Product Page. The maximum number of characters which can be added here is 255:

8. In this element, you can select what countries can use your EKM online shop. Scroll through the remaining countries and if there are any you don’t wish to ship goods to, simply un-tick the box for them:

9. When you have finished amending your Order Restrictions, click the green Update button on the bottom right:
